While some art galleries keep large stock of paintings and copies, their prices need to reflect large investment in stock – which can sell tomorrow, a month from now – a year – or – never! And, with our extensive offer such stock would need to be enormous! Not only so many different paintings, but also each of them in several different sizes – to offer you exactly what you need.

By working on per-order basis, we don’t need to tie-down our cash flow, and are able to offer you the lowest possible prices, for the very best quality work. Keeping a huge stock of different canvasses, just to have them ready for a quick sale – would increase their prices several times.

At the same time, doing the work specially for you, we can accommodate your additional requests as to size, finishing, etc. – giving you overall best value for the best possible price.

Galleries are one of the most common places to display these pieces of art. Often, shows will be put on in a gallery which can either display the entire collection of one artist or take some pieces from many different artists and show them all. When one of these shows are exhibited where many different artists participate, they will generally follow a certain theme in all of the work that they present. This theme could follow a certain celebrity, such as commemorating the glamor of the 1950s movie stars.

What is new in the art world? Buying art online! Why? Why would anyone want to buy original art from an online art gallery? Because the excitement of discovering new artists and new artwork is just a click away! No matter where you live in the world, if you have access to the internet, you can experience and buy wonderful art. You can experience the art world from the comfort of your home, office, or wherever you take your lap top or PDA.

The selection is enormous and diverse. Online galleries do not need to rent physical space so they are not limited. They can offer a wide range of art by artists. Online there is room for the largest sculpture and painting as well as smaller pieces. Media can range from metal to oils, to ceramics, to anything the creative artists can imagine. What gallery can you go to and find so many diverse artists, different media, so many pieces of art? Where else can you find artists from all over the world in one place? browse to your heart’s content at any hour of the day and night. No one follows you around, bugging you with unwanted chatter and details! and focus on art that appeals to you and challenges you. You can take the time to visualize it in your space.

You can find many art galleries online. However, if you are investing in art you should buy original art. The prices range from hundreds to thousands and tens of thousands of dollars. Often you can buy an original piece of art for the same price you may pay for a print. If you can afford only one piece then buy original art. Make sure you know the size and medium, if you love a painting, my recommendation is that you use butcher paper or newspaper and cut out the size of the piece you have fallen in love with. Hang it on the wall to make sure the piece fits. And if you love a piece of sculpture or ceramics or anything that is three-dimensional, make sure you have the space. Most online galleries do guarantee satisfaction. Make sure you use one that does.

If you are an art collector then you are going to want to know where to find oil paintings for sale for a low cost. Now granted you can find the reprints and prints for a low cost, but the originals can end up costing you quite a bit more.

The first place that you can check would be with an art gallery that specializes in paintings. Shopping at these can be a fairly expensive option, but if you are an avid collector then cost will not be an issue for you. Shopping at these locations will also help provide you with some protection from people selling reproductions as originals and they might even be able to provide you with paperwork verifying authenticity.

The second place to check for these items would be your larger craft shows. You might not think about using this venue, but at some of these you will be able to locate local artist that are selling their paintings here for a reasonable cost. By purchasing here though you will also notice that the art will usually have the artist that made it present as well.

The third place to look for these would be at various flea markets. Flea markets might not seem like a great place to shop for art, but if you consider that some people will end up clearing out attics to provide products for these locations you might be able to find the diamond in the rough here and obtain it for a low cost.

The fourth place to look for these would be on the internet. With the internet becoming so popular today you will notice more people are selling items of all shapes and sizes on here. You can at times manage to find some excellent oils on the internet at a very reasonable price. If it is possible you will want to make sure that they are able to provide you with a certificate that they are authentic paintings and not reproductions.

The fifth place that you can find these for sale at would be estate sales. If you are a buyer of art then you will notice that many people have estate sales when they pass on hosted by their families. At times the families will not know what all the person has in the home and sell everything. Some times the items that they are selling can include the original oils that you are looking for.

As an art collector you probably realize that original paintings will cost you more than prints. However, finding the original oil paintings for sale can be a challenge at times. The five places that are mentioned above will provide you with a great start as to where to look to find these items. You will also want to realize that other places will be able to provide you with what you are looking for as well.

Selling your art can be an interesting thing to do not to mention a way to gain an extra income source. The hard part though is figuring out where to have your original art for sale at. Since it is so hard you might think that it will be impossible to do this, but you will not want to give up. If you give you then the opportunity of people collecting your pieces will be diminished and you cannot enjoy the extra income. Here are five locations that you might want to consider selling your works of art at so you can start making money.

The first place that you might consider would be checking with local galleries to see if they sell individual works. Some of the local galleries might allow you to sell there for a small percentage, but others might be dedicated to only one specific artist have only one. Since you are going to be trying to sell your paintings though you will not hurt yourself by calling them up and asking or even better yet stopping in with samples of your work.

The second place to check into would be the internet. Now with the internet you will probably end up competing with artist around the world for the amount of money that people have to spend on the big picture. However, you can be very successful in selling products on the internet if you are able to market your art properly and find the market that you will do best in. You can also check to see if there are any specialty art websites dedicated to selling art only. If there is find out the fees that they charge because they will typically rank higher than if you were just starting out.

The third place to look would be in some of the local smaller coffee shops. Now this does not mean to go into the big chain coffee shops in your neighborhood, but see if you can find one that is locally owned. Depending on the area you might find that this can be very beneficial for you and the coffee shops. Not only that the locally owned places might not even charge you to put items in the shop to sell.

The fourth place would be using utilize your own front yard. Now doing this might seem to make yourself feel a little bit cheap, but it could be the way that you end up selling your first painting and getting your art out in the world. This is a good method if you are just starting out and if you have high levels of foot traffic in front of your home.

The fifth place would be to check into the local area flea markets. Many painters and artist like to utilize these as a place to sell there art because of the number of people that go to them. Since you are going to have this increase in foot traffic you will want to be prepared for sales and possibly even to receive orders of art work that people will want.

Being able to sell your are is a great way to earn extra cash. You will want to make sure that you find out if any fees are going to be associated with selling your arm in various locations though before selling there.

Other occasions could have a celebrity artist putting up their own show with some of their most prized pieces. These shows are often large events as these celebrities could be proud of their work and will often invite all of their friends. These events can turn into a gala celebration, with a great number of celebrities there supporting their artist friend. Either way, these galleries can be a perfect example to find works of celebrity art.

One feature of galleries, which cannot be found in a museum, is that most pieces featured are in fact for sale. This allows anyone to find a piece that they particularly fall in love with and to purchase it. This can be a great investment, having a work either about or by a certain celebrity who your collection of other pieces of memorabilia just happens to be about. Indeed, these pieces are usually even autographed by the artist, giving you a great piece of autographed art to add into your collection. Not only can you potentially find a piece to fill your collection, but you may be making an investment for the future. No one knows how valuable that particular piece of art may be in 20 years.

Galleries will not always feature only new art, though. Sometimes the owners of a piece can put some art on display for the world. These can be pieces by famous celebrity artists that are part of a private collection that the owner still decides to display for the world. Many times, there pieces will have a price tag on them as well, allowing one to find a rare piece to add to the collection. If you are looking for some interesting, compelling pieces of celebrity autographed art, one additional place to take your search would be through many different art galleries.

There are many different arts degree jobs; it is not restricted just to painting and sculpting. While fine arts degrees can provide formal training in various arts, these skills can have many practical uses in a variety of professions. Fine arts degrees can provide students with the tools they need to use in numerous commercial settings.

Fine Art Jobs Description

Multimedia artists, animators, craft artists, fine artists and art directors are just a few of the art and design careers that art school graduates can go into. Many people who have fine arts degrees do become fine arts artist, so if this is your goal, don’t let anything hold you back. Painters, illustrators, photographers and sculptors all fall within this category. The competition is fierce, but with diligence, it’s possible to make it. Or if you have a knack for designing useful and beautiful things such as stained glass, pottery, hand woven rugs, sculptures or woodcarvings, you could pursue a career as a craft artist. People will always be interested in buying things like jewelry and craft objects at markets, in boutiques, out of catalogues or online. It’s just a matter of producing artifacts that people want to buy and marketing them correctly.

Graduates with arts degrees who have an interest in creating images for commercials for television, print media, cinema, computer games or other types of media can become multimedia artists. The arts director is another alternative career in arts, which involves the creation of visual concepts for magazines, newspapers, videos, websites or billboards. This career involves coordinating with graphic designers and photographers, making decisions about how to present visual concepts, and using management skills to lead the team.

Paintings can be of many types. They can be done on walls and ceilings. This kind of painting has been manifest on the Sistine chapel in France. It is pioneering work of Michelangelo and the fresco painting depicts events from the life of Jesus Christ. In such forms, paintings are self-illustrative and act as a source of reference. The life-depiction that they seek to enumerate can be tied to any person or event.

Generally paintings are done on canvas. These are the most prolific form of painting. Such paintings can be in the form of landscape or portrait. In the former one, the length is far more than the breath. The portraits have reverse orientation. When people paint faces they choose portrait dimension. When they choose to paint events or a scene, they select landscape. Painters are known to be an experimenting breed; they can very well innovate the other way round.

Paintings can have broad and narrow classifications. Few of them are figurative paintings, nude paintings and paintings on still life. Paintings on still life need a lot of observation both by the painter and the audience. A connoisseur is adept at understanding the various nuances involved in such painting. Nude paintings require a lot of class. Through brush stroke and interspersing of faint and bold colors, a painter is expected to create the right contours. Imagine, if the contours are not up to the mark, how a misbalanced body would look.

A lot many painting revolutions have gripped mankind. Few were rich in implementation. Others were great with perspective. Few were dominant in both the feature. For instance, Pablo Picasso’s Cubism was a radical idea. It depicted objects as conceived by God and not as perceived by us. This is why an apple painted by Picasso simultaneously had both the sides upfront. After all God could see both the sides together. The idea was seeing objects from a vantage point.

Next, there was Salvador Dali who brought a revolution called Surrealism. Surrealism was all about painting objects so that they only loosely related to life and created a fabric of the artificial. He would paint mountains fixed in clouds as if the mountains were hanging.

Impressionism by Paul Cezanne was another radical painting idea. It depicted everything in spikes and pointed forms. It was the result of negative psyche created by years of Nazi oppression. Renoir was another pioneer of it.

A landscape painting should make you feel like you are in a deep space. When viewing it you should feel as though you were right inside the painting. It should be both spellbinding and beautiful. To attain this, there are some tricks to it. The first trick is to use clarity. An example of this is to show a thick fog over some hills in the distance, and have the fog fade as you get to the hills towards the front. A second trick is to use a winding path, such as a trail, a creek, or a river. This makes people feel as though they are deep within the painting. A third trick is to use size to your advantage. A tree up close should be large, while a tree far away should be small. This enhances the viewer’s feel of the distance and expanse of the landscape.

One thing you have to remember about a landscape painting is that it doesn’t have to show exactly everything you see. If you don’t want to paint every tree you see, then don’t. If you want to put a bird in the sky, then put a bird in the sky. If you don’t like the color of some flowers, then feel free to change the color to one you approve of. If you don’t like to include the people you see in the landscape, then take them out. If you want to change the color of the sky from a grey evening to a dark evening, then change away. Use your imagination and do as you will. It is all up to you. Your goal with the landscape painting is to dramatically capture the feel of the landscape, not to show everything in it. If a landscape painting was supposed to be an exact duplicate it would be called a photograph, not a painting.

A great landscape painting will enhance your artist capabilities. It can also help you make some extra pocket change being how popular these paintings are. Anyone would want a beautiful landscape painting to compliment there home or office. With all of these tips and tricks in mind, you should be on your way to creating a masterful landscape painting. Perhaps one day you can be a world renowned landscape artist!

Are you an avid movie watcher or do you enjoy the HDTV sports packages so prevalent in today’s cable TV set ups ? What is the dimensions of your viewing room ? What materials are present in that room? Do you mainly listen to music and what kind of music? Every of the answers will help to determine what your home theater design will look like.

What you are trying to do is to simulate the surroundings you find at a real movie theater to make the most of your viewing and listening pleasure. You have a surround sound system that can have all kind of speaker settings. This is what distinguishes your home theater from a regular television viewing situation. In order to get the maximum enjoyment from these features, you have first decide where you want to place the wide screen TV and where you want to sit. As you do this, keep in mind that the speakers will have to be located in different places around the room. This will give you the feeling of actually being in the middle of the action .

Your home theater design should also take in consideration the acoustic characteristics of the materials in the room. Bare walls do not work well with sound quality, as the reverberations tend to muddy the sound. Some type of sound absorbing materials should be installed to help the acoustic balance. Ceiling panels, draperies, and rugs are all assisting in achieving this balance. The actual atmosphere should be planned so that the lights in the room are controllable and are adding to the atmosphere. A dimmer switch on some of the lights is probably the easiest method of controlling the lights , or you could put in buried lights to imitate the lighting in a movie theater.

The physical comfort of the viewers is of equal significance in home theater design. Temperature regulation keeps the room at a reasonable level and proper ventilation will offer air movement for a pleasurable atmosphere.

The following step is to locate the speakers in the optimum configuration which will increase the listening experience. Surround sound speaker systems come in different arrangements with the basic one being the 5.1 channel set-up, made up of three front speakers, two side speakers, and a sub-woofer. The 6.1 channel set-up adds a channel (a rear speaker) to the 5.1 configuration, while the 7.1 adds yet another sub-woofer for increased bass. Your ideal home theater configuration will take into consideration the necessity for best location of these loudspeakers in terms of the physical separation required and optimum separation of sound . Putting the loudspeakers on the floor is not the best way to place them , as the floor picks up the vibrations and distorts the sound. Arrangements must be made to raise the speakers so that nothing comes between your ears and the speakers. This will enlarge your experience in the best home theater design possible.
